Experiencia urbana como experiencia estética: Jalón Ángel y los paseos fotográficos

Abstract

Jalón Ángel was a photographer with extensive international training and deep visual richness. Only by knowing his personal work we can see how easy it was for him to manage two different visual styles. One of them was a pictorial one, with a theatrical touch. The other style was freer, with a documentary aesthetic in which he shows not only a greater creative freedom, but also, he demonstrates the assimilation of the knowledge of the great European photographers. He found a balance between both styles in his urban photographs and in the postcards of Zaragoza.
