dc.descriptionMountainous territories have undergone significant transformations, as a result of the changing human land-occupation and interaction with their environment. This research in the surrounding area of Sobrepuerto (Aragonese Central Pyrenees, Spain), investigates the role of infrastructure in the reactivation of depopulated spaces, identifying different land-occupation processes which enable to discern these environments. The study is conducted through the comparative spatial analysis of the use of the land, and the realisation of semi-structured interviews. The obtained results provide novel insights into the factors which facilitate the development of these practices, and the conditions which allow to intervene in depopulated spaces.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLos territorios de montaña han experimentado profundas transformaciones, como consecuencia del cambio de la ocupación humana y su interacción con el medio. A través del análisis espacial comparativo del uso del suelo de Sobrepuerto y su entorno (Pirineo central aragonés, España) y del desarrollo de entrevistas semiestructuradas, esta investigación examina el papel que desempeña la infraestructura en la reactivación de espacios deshabitados, distinguiendo diferentes procesos de ocupación que permiten caracterizar estos entornos. Los resultados permiten avanzar en el conocimiento de cuáles son los factores que mayor garantía proporcionan a la hora de que estas prácticas sean efectivas y que existan posibilidades reales de intervención sobre los espacios deshabitados.es_ES
