dc.descriptionosé Luis Aranguren’s first «intellectual action» —as he himself would have called it— corresponds to his research into the work of Eugenio d’Ors, a Catholic philosopher to whom he felt initially attracted. However, he soon distanced itself from the thinking of D’Ors, of an aestheticizing and cultural nature, in search rather of an «existential Catholicism», deeply rooted in the concrete life of the Christian and moved by an intellectual labour of enquiry and personal exploration.en_US
