Description: The scientific studies about the multicultural context in the Kingdom of Aragon in the Middle Ages have focused especially on vertical relations (hegemonic majority vs. minorities) and not on horizontal relations among religious minorities. This interrelation is strictly necessary, but never neutral. However, in the field of commercial and artisanal relationships, religion is not an obstacle since the relationship is based on pure pragmatism and necessity. The Muslims depend on Jewish capital. Thus, we analyze the investments of the three most important financiers of the Jewish aljama of Zaragoza, Ezmel Abnarrabí, Jucé Abuzmel and Salamon Trigo, and its influence among the mudejars of their environs.
